Would you happen to have any of the sidecars?
Thx

I looked through my negatives last night but I didn't find any sidecars, sorry.

Here is Kenny Jr. on a 250cc from 1994.

Thanks, I was motivated to join this forum after seeing all the great old photos you posted. I went to Laguna once before the USGP races back in 1983 but I did not get all the great rider photos like you did.

"High praise from Caesar" indeed! Thank you, but your shots are fantastic!

You should contact Dean Adams at Supebike Planet ("Soup"), he loves running galleries of photos like this!

Thanks, I kept buying better cameras and lenses to get better Quality, I was using a Canon A2E with a Sigma 70-210 APO f2.8 for most of my photos from the 93-94 races, I went to the Willow Springs motorcycle club races and practised panning so I wouldn't be so overwelmed by the speed of the GP bikes. I still took a whole bunch of photos that were not quite in focus or that I clipped one end of the bike or other off.

Yup, same here, lotsa pics left in the photo store trash can... These kids today don't know how lucky they are with all their digital gizmos!:laughing

Thanks, I am glad people are liking them.

You can't ruin a thread by posting a photo of a GP bike.
I wish I could take photos as well as the guy that used to sell the 8x10" and 11x14" photos at the track, I think he was from San Jose Pro Photo or something like that. I also wish I didn't have to stand on a step ladder so I could clear the fence at Laguna. I felt like a pack mule walking around the track with a ladder strapped to my back and a heavy camera bag.

I bought one of the Aussie companies prints at the first MotoGP. It was Colin on the red, white, blue Laguna Special SP2! Awesome shot, autographed and numbered.

I bought 3 11x14" prints from the San Jose place, Mamola, Schwantz and Rainey, I had them on the front seat of my motorhome when I moved and I left them there too long because the roof leaked and a bunch of my larger photos got stuck together. I still have a few prints that James Crespinel did,
Lawson, Mamola, Rainey and Schwantz.

I can't resist, please check your pm's.

I checked out your site, very nice work.
All I do is point the camera and it is over in 1/250th of a second,
I tried painting when I was a kid but I was not very good at it,
my dad could paint pretty well though and I have a brother who can draw really well but I don't think he has drawn anything in years.

ridiculously great pics, man! post more!

and i just forwarded that shot of chandler over to doug. i think he'll appreciate that. :thumbup
