Hang on. We're working on details. Not definite yet. I'll update as soon as we know for sure one way or the other.

I guess I meant to ask, is the n00b pit area where we will be camping out throughout the night?

If you get there early you can camp out next to that. You can always camp in the area and get out super early in the morning. Or camp in the area, but not under the canopy. Or... when you get there you'll see, there are lots of options

Hi Jeremy,

I'm camping on Friday. Planning for my bike to be ready to pass tech with your help, please, on Friday. Since you'll have people arriving saturday morning that need your help. So no transportation saturday morning, is breakfast available at Thill cafe?

Good news I actually managed to get myself into the Astars suit. Pretty comfortable once everything's zipped up and it's got some perforations. Bad news there is no pocket for back armor and fit is such that there is no room for external back armor. Usually I see people wearing the back armor under a jacket can you wear it over?

No chair since I'm riding up. Floor always works...

Thanks Jeremy! Excited and nervous

We're starting one hour early this weekend - both days!

Trying to maximize the cool weather so we'll be backing up everything by one hour. I know this is a bit of late notice so sorry for that.

Here's the updated schedule:
- gates open at 6:00 (and camping will be available Friday night)
- Registration and tech opens at 6:10
- Rider meeting starts at 7:00
- First A session goes out at 8:00
- Lunch will be from 12 - 1
- Last C session goes out at 3:40.
- Track goes cold at 4:00.
- Summerfest Festivities shortly thereafter.

I'll be sending out emails to all participants ASAP. Please email me if you have any questions: david@z2trackdays.com. Please spread the word!

--David

I'll be happy to help you Friday. That goes for all of you.

Back protectors normally go under the suit. They are normally not in a pocket, but more like a backpack

There is a cafe and Breakfast is available.

Hey gang. As you're loading up all your stuff today it's super important you remember one thing. The key to your motorcycle. You would be shocked to know how often this happens. After you load up take the key out of your bike and put it into your truck.

I'll post up some pit photos when I get to the track. See you all in a bit!!

Looking forward to meeting you all! Headed out this afternoon.

Late notice but if anyone can bring an extra chair without too much hassle, please. I'd greatly appreciate it.

@chickenfried

Back protectors are required per Z2's requirements page

Do you have a thinner type of back protector from your jacket you can put inside your suit and just have the tension of a tight suit hold it in place? I know my suit is super tight and would hold a "pocket style" back protector in place even though my suit doesn't have a pocket.

I'd hate for you to get all the way there and not be allowed to ride because you don't have a back protector.

@everyone

Can't wait to meet yall up there. My wife and I will be loading up and head out from Oakland hopefully before 7, but we will see. I've gotta stop and pick up the uhaul trailer on my way home.

Thanks for looking out. I switched to another jacket that has a pocket that fits my D30 back insert. Also contacted Z2 for backup rental in case my setup isn't to the safety standard. But from conversation w/David and reading seems it is.

I'll be bringing a Tpro Adventure Harness in about M that we have been meaning to sell - good Level 2 back protection.

Also, if anyone has an LV dB killer I could borrow/buy - I sent the one that came with my pipe to Jay Murray, and it's a little too polite for Thill.

Hey, so we ( me and sniperrfa1) left a ramp, aluminum and folding by the back straight guardrail near our pit. Any chance c e someone could grab it and bring it to the East Bay (oak/berk ish) on your way back home?
