Last public meeting for 2019 Barf Baja trip on Weds Oct 17th - BARF

Last Public meeting for the 2019 Barf Baja trip will be:

6:30pm on Wednesday October 17th at
LaneSplitters Pizza 2033 San Pablo Ave, Berkeley CA 94702

All 2019 participants will have to commit to the trip by the end of this meeting. If you are a new rider and we haven't met or ridden with you yet, arrange to do so before this meeting. Post up in the trip thread to arrange to ride with a trip veteran. No exceptions.

Information on the 2019 Barf Baja Trip is posted in this thread that also happens to be a sticky at the top of this forum. Got questions? Ask them in that thread.

All riders must commit by the October meeting and we have to have ridden with you by that time.

Great meeting some of you last time!

Would love to set up a time or two to ride on a week day with someone to see if I’ve got what it takes to do the trip.

I can travel within a couple of hours of SF so what ever is convenient...

I am pretty sure Rebekah and Tom (anytwowilldo) are going to be at Hollister one day the wknd of Sept 22nd. Not sure which of the days they will be there, reach out to them.

Great! We are parking in the vintage lot, meet time 8am, ksu 8:30am. Look for a white Toyota Tacoma with a ktm and husky.

Cool old 1998 video of Malcolm Smith's 6 day Baja ride he used to organize. For those that have never been, its good example of Baja's two track we primarily ride. While not as technical as black diamond single track up north, its rocky, sandy, hilly, and can wear you out and challenge you.
