Stage 13: miss on wiggler

Still photos to follow.

Just got the Archangel stock in for the Mosin. Really nice ergonomics & the build quality plus detachable magazine were well worth the wait. It's considerably lighter than the wood furniture & no more Cosmoline sweating out is a big time benefit haha.

Overall I give it :thumbupx2

Too bad you're not local, I'd like to throw that up on my shoulder and see how it fits... anyone locally stocking them (yet)?

Built my first AR mag carrier today, already have order for 6 of them. I guess there is a market for them after all.

where and how much!?!?!?!!

where and how much!?!?!?!!

I pre-ordered it on the promag website like 5 minutes after they started taking them back in March.

$199 for the stock & a 5 round detachable magazine

Yeah it's a lot to spend on a Mosin, but it's been an awesome gun that's cheap to shoot!

Thanks for the heads up. Not really a lot of $$ considering an average stock is $99+ for a no frills composite one. This one gives a ton of advantages over a normal monte carlo style stock.

How much we talking for 2 in FDE/Coyote color?

So whats the story with microstamping and reloads? Especially commercially produced ones like the ones from Freedom Munitions or the place out in grass valley?

"...Microstamping...it involves the use of laser technology to engrave a microscopic marking onto the tip of the firing pin and onto the breech face of a firearm. When the firearm is fired, these etchings are transferred to the primer by the firing pin and to the cartridge case by the breech face, using the pressure created when a round is fired..."

I see. So I'm guessing they'd match up the mark made by the pin on the primer, and one of the marks on the case, and have the gun in question?
