How many of you ride without gloves?

I don't know why I've noticed so much lately but I have been seeing tons of dues riding without gloves, even on cold mornings. I can't ride without gloves on, it feels too weird without them. Do you guys always wear gloves, or won't bother if running a quick errand?

Fuck no, it's literally 10 seconds to put both gloves on. I also keep my gloves inside my helmet, so no reason to to not have them with me. I'm guilty of riding without jacket, boots, pants, etc sometimes, but gloves and helmet at bare minimum (on public roads).

Having been down at speed, and making a living from my hands, I always wear very sturdy gloves.

With one exception: When I am riding on the beach in speedo's - I am euro-trash after all

Never commute, ride for fun or ride any distances over a mile or two without gloves. Many times I've ridden to the gas station or taco truck without gloves/jacket/boots/pants.

I also rode through Zion without a helmet, and it was pretty fucking awesome.

that isn't great for your gloves - it doesn't let them dry out as well

Gloves (and helmet) are my minimum now, having royally fucked up my wrist and hands multiple times.

You might catch me squidding shirtless in board shorts and flip flops, but I'll damn well have a set of race gauntlets with big ol palm sliders on.

Did it once when I got my first bike. 5 minutes into my first ride got smacked in the right hand by some hard-shelled bug. After that always with the gloves.

Whoa, no pants? Only a helmet and gloves?

Pictures, where are the pictures?

Sometimes I'll wear shorts, t-shirt and sneakers when it is hot as fuck here. Or in Miss'ippi where I lived for too long. But always with gloves and a helmet. Funny how knees and elbows don't matter when heat stroke is imminent ...

Last year, riding through the Maritime Provinces of Canada, I couldn't believe it. The vast majority (at least 75%) of the riders we saw weren't wearing gloves.

My hands sweat if I don't wear gloves plus ... ya know ... safety first.
