Just joined BARF and saw this trip....too late for this year, but will look for another later as my brother and I and 10 others did this about 8 years ago. Total blast!

Welcome to Barf. Baja rocks.

Keep an eye in the dirty section too. Many of us Baja regulars get together to ride dirtbikes often.
I'm looking for 1970 or older project like a CB350 or Triumph 650. Cheap and complete. PM me if you have something - will provide it a good home.

If you think me being naked is offensive, dont look!

It will be an out and back with plenty of bail-out routes. It will take all day but shouldn't go overnight unless something goes terribly wrong. Without any detours, it's a bit over 100 miles one way.

The route looks like this:

As many can attest, it's a good dual-sport ride with incredible scenery - a ride through the boonies with civilization at either end.

I'll start a new thread if there's any interest. There are govt. permits involved to keep it legal, (if you're into obeying the law) but they're cheap and easy to come by.

I'm planning on going on Sunday, December 9th.

Get your $17 permit to ride through Clear Creek at if you're into obeying the law.
