July 4, 2018, Wednesday: Welcome back Jack, MGR (East Bay start) 9:30am sharp!

Alice's for the win! I can't ride all day yet,, recovering from a trackday still, that's how I figured that out.

Hola, join me in my first group ride, after healing up from bouncing off of some cars back in February. BTW my name is Jackie, but very close friends and family call me Jack. I know, even though I'm a gal.

When and Where: KU 9:30am sharp, Wednesday, July 4, 2018
East bay starting point: Peets Coffee, 20439 Redwood Rd, Castro Valley

SF start: 10:10 am KU sharp. Shell gas station, 1201 Harrison Street, (cross street 8th street, San Francisco, CA 94103)

3rd meet up point: 11 am. hwy 92, right after you turn onto Hwy 92 from Hwy 35, parking lot on the right, if you are going south bound.

Route: from SF to Hwy 1 to 92, to skyline blvd/35... and then to Alice's.

https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=s...2RneA&t=m&z=10

Who: everyone is welcome. Newbie friendly. kneedraggers welcome too. Come out and play!

after lunch routes will be discussed at lunch.

PLEASE:
*Safety first.
*This is not a race, ride your ride always.
*Arrive with the needed amount of gas (2 gas stations 1/2 block from peets).
*Make sure your bike is in good operating condition.
*Make sure you are in good working order.
*ATGATT pretty please.
*we will break into groups depending on who shows up (to accommodate varying skill levels) if needed. Everyone is expected to ride within their comfort level.
*Experienced riders who want to ride a mellow pace are always welcome.
*Volunteers for lead and sweep always appreciated and will receive good karma.

The Goal is for newbies & not so newbies to have a fun ride, learn new routes and meet new riders.

Please post up if you plan to join us, as it is helpful in planning leads and sweeps.

Voted for Berryessa but given it’s a holiday and that means slow tourists, double-yellow crossers and trucks pulling boat-trailers, Mines is probably a better choice.

Regardless, if it’s not 100 degrees I’ll ride wherever the group goes.

Berryessa will suck on July 4 trust me, as much as I like it it'll be congested and likely a few cops out.

I have radar detector on my bike. and yes it's on!

If it really sucks, we can invade my sister's house on Howell Mountain and use the hot tub on lay out by the infinity edge pool.

Personally I'd rather ride.

What's this I see a s1000rr in your stable now?
I want to join you, but July 4 is a big BBQ/fireworks event at SMM.
What time would you finish up?
I'd like to do both
