Have had zero issues since... I do noy charge my battery...though ive been looking on amazon for charger/jumper.

Not something you can jump with, but if you're just looking at a charger, look no further than this:

Get a quality battery, keep it charged, and make sure your bike's charging system is working and you won't need a battery to jump start your bike. If you feel you need that capability, I'd just get a set of decent cables and you can get a jump off of any vehicle. (To be safe, do NOT have that vehicle's engine running when jumping.)

I pretty much don't have problems with Li Ion batteries and that's all I use now.

I've always been put off by the fact that motorcycle and car charging systems are designed for lead/acid, though I know that many people use Li Ion and have no problems.

I was just surfing over at the Detran site and noticed they now sell Li Ion batteries for bikes and other vehicles. So, I asked them about this difference. I'll post up what they say.
