MA said "a few weeks" at Barber until the regs were complete. Shouldn't be long now.

Spies is locking down where he's racing, but no word on what brand.

Spies running his own team is def something that MA needs. i really really hope he pays a teammate.

I think this is really good for the series.

its huge for the series. its like they are taking a page out of the Major League Soccer book when they brought in Thierry Henry, David Beckam, Steven Gerrard, etc. to raise the talent level and entice other world class players to play in the league. bringing in ex-motogp talent to MA does the exact same thing. it entices the other top/mid tier talent and substantial sponsors into the paddock, it gets the casual fan out to the races and it introduces the other, lesser known riders to a section of racing fans that woud've otherwise never heard of them.

But, BEIN doesn't have the coverage! It's either not available or too expensive an addition for too many people, I believe. I am sure the coverage is great in Doha, but j-A-c, can't we have a nice American company showing us American sports? Can I get an totally "politically incorrect" amen from someone?

it would be cool if dorna offered a package upgrade to get access to CEV, Asia Talent cup and MA races.

I think Dorna owns all the cameras and equipment used for GP. Theres no way MA owns anything.

I'd hope MotoAmerica owns the broadcast rights.

I like Kelso's idea. Dorna owns or has a hand in so many moto road racing series, why not be the main distributor of that content?

Spies coming back would be awesome. That's a real win. I'd hope he'd be a real terror after the first year.

If he's serious what he really needs is a 3 year deal. 1st year to get back in the saddle and get the team working. 2nd year to compete and work out the kinks, 3rd year to CRUSH THEM, HUMILIATE THEM!

I mean, he could do it in 2...but...better to be safe.

Short profile of Jake Gagne written by WorldSBK commentator/journalist Steve English. They discuss the subject of U.S. road racers going to Europe mostly touching on why motocross and supercross are more likely to draw young talents than roadracing; something which has come up in the CRC many times.

time to bump this.

MA's provisional weekend schedule just came out. SBK, SS, and Jr Cup are mostly unchanged, except the removal of the 2 600 practice sessions and the LCQs. STK1000 and Twins are only on track for 2 days and only getting 1 race per weekend.

im stoked SS still has 2 races cuz thats my class. but this might change a few plans for the guys i know that were going to race STK1000.

theres also a lot of new purse information that i havent digested yet.
