Lorenzo would streak away at the front, with Rossi in tow, but halfway through JLo's motor pops, as Gigi had the mechanics put in a ringer because he knows, despite Malaysia, that fucker can't be trusted. The tifosi go wild and yellow smoke billows all across the track as Rossi cruises to easy victory. But coming across the line to take the white flag, Rossi's crew shows him "Dovi +4" on the board. Coming out of the final corner, Rossi slows to a crawl and waits for the Desmosedici to blitz by. They both cross the line half a second apart, in standup wheelies. The camera shot cuts to Marquez fuming in his pit box, and Julian, fingers uncrossed, shouting obscenities at Livio Suppo.

dude, great to have yer pithy accuracy online once again!

Some folks are stoking the Rossi retirement rumor.

http://www.express.co.uk/sport/other...RETIRE-Moto-GP

If this is true, I'll be pissed. I was hoping to catch him on track in Aragon next year. I kept putting off catching him at a European round and figured this coming season was my last chance. Now I could be too late.

Valentino isn't going to retire because the 2017 M1 was a turd. If the bike had been great and he got mediocre results he'd probably retire.
I say he races next year to develop the 2018 M1 and signs one more 2yr contract before shifting his attention to his MotoGP team.
At that point he'll have the VR46 Academy attached to Yamaha, Moto3 team, Moto2 team, and the MotoGP team.

I'm not buying it, just would suck if he did.

Pol Espagaro will have to start the race from pit lane due to exceeding the number of engines allowed for the season. Lucky for him, he's riding a KTM so he can cut across the grass and jump if necessary to make up time.
