Mountain bike, 56 cm

Looking for a decent mountain bike, an equivalent size for a 56cm road bike rider.

I honestly have no clue. I ride a 56cm road bike; I'll do some research before I post an answer.

After I have a beer.

It’s roughly a large 19” though different geometry may vary. I’m a 56cm on road and a 19” on mtn

bottom bracket c/l to top tube c/l is 20". headset c/l to seatopos c/l is 22.5". These measurements are from my old mid-'80s StumpJumper Comp with brazed lugs.

I seem to recall it was made with Tange Prestige tubing - anyway, it was a nice bike, old school everything. I'd like something full suspension with disc brakes but will settle for less if the price and condition of the bike are good.
