Wow! All kinds of good stuff in here lately! Beautiful rides and photos, Eric B and Cabrito! Thanks for posting them up! I wouldn't mind doing the Bungee Brent ride someday. I've been down to Relief Reservoir and was blown away at how warm the water was. I'd love to get out there again someday, too.

This place is worth a visit. I don't think I could make that loose hill on my DS bike, but there is a road up from the Cisco Grove exit that is supposed to be much smoother. Go check it out.
I've reached that spot on my xr650l via Cisco grove, no problems, just a little loose rock and steep in places.

The plan had been to slab up 80 to Hwy 20 and ride out to Bowman Lake or further and camp. Then loop around to Henness Pass road and back to 49..

The dirt section started with the washed out bridge.
Daaaang, that was out at Bowman? That's my favorite area to day trip in the summer. If you didn't make it to Faucherie, make sure to stop there next time. It's a beautiful little lake.

E-10 on the rear was great all around. The Perelli MT21 up front scream/whistles like crazy... It's annoying, but to me both tires handle pavement, and the dirty stuff just fine.

... kill me, now ...
... how I hate spinning wrenches ...

... my parts back by UPS today, from the machinist ...

... placed an OEM order with my local dealer ...
after a couple of three weeks, went in to see what
the delay was ... figured they had to come from
Japan or something ...

... parts guy says "oh ... when I got
back from vacation, I saw that the parts numbers
for the piston had been superseded ... they should
be here in a couple days ..."

... see you in
the garage,

Fordyce Creek is down in the valley. It was flowing pretty well. I didn't have enough sunlight to continue down to the creek. Another time.

If I could justify it I'd run up to Petaluma today and purchase a GasGas Contact.
