Thanks...more work then I should have sunk into it, but it's a pretty unique bike in the states. The engine is a shaker but gives good vibes when you rev it up. A bit of a blocky ugly duckling, but in the black/silver S2 trim is very nice looking.

Here's mine, 1980 GS550. Found it on a ranch in Fallon, NV. The victim of a nasty airleak at the airbox.

Here it is a few months ago. It now has all bits on it and it (finally) runs:

82 GS450 fore n after

Good Evening,

My second post or comment on barf. First was yesterday. Thanks for having me.

Before: First picture taken of my 1982 Suzuki GS450 on a pier in Chula Vista. Bike was about six weeks old in picture. 1200 dollars in El Cajon, CA. Was still in a crate unassembled. Picked it as it was the only black one available. All others were maroon in color. Paid cash with money I received as a A school graduation while in the Navy.

After: Pic taken about a year ago. Found factory correct fairing for it finally on ebay. She now has about 45,000 miles on her. 33 years old. I thinking about keeping it I guess.

It's the 1990 400 4-stroke. We will be at Willow Springs Raceway in 12 days.

Hmmmm..... that would be 15,000rpm. I don't do that to her anymore. But 13k, yes we do that.

Please pardon the image size and quality. Thanks.
1975 Yamaha RD350. I bought it as a stripped (and cobby) track bike.
Some nice hardware. I added body filler, paint, handmade wiring harness
and some sweet (if I may say so) fabricated parts : coil mounts (Al),
license mount (Al) and battery support (Al & Delrin). Matching helmet
paint. Huge dent in an expansion chamber removed by filling with water
& leaving in a horizontal storage freezer. Street legal when finished.
