Only 2 more Wednesday night Drags in Sonoma this year, this Wednesday 11-7-18 and then Wednesday the 11-14-18. Get there early 3-3:30 to get through tech and be ready to race at 4pm. $25 to race, come out and see what you can do!

I'll be there!
Haha, I need to talk with my daughter more often....last week I went out there just to make sure the gates were locked and secure.
I know better.

Maybe I should ride the Empulse up there and try those new charging stations they have in the front =P That would be an all day adventure! Oh man I just realized that would make a fun road trip! Ride up there and and charge. Then race and ride home. Oh and it's free to charge too!

I made it to Fremont and I ran out of juice the exit before the charger so I pretty much pushed it to the charger =( I wish I was charging at some restaurant because I'm really hungry right now =/

Made it back home I had to charge another time in Milpitas. When you get down to 25% it's just agonizing to watch it charge if you are trying to get home. My next electric bike will have a bigger battery and Level 3 charging =P

For what it's worth even though the Empulse is quite heavy it's not too hard to push it rolls very smoothly =P

I got about 60 miles and it ran out of juice. I think the cold weather killed some of my range, it was 60F-65F. Normally it will go 60 mile and still keep going a bit more. But it went from like 15% SOC to 0% suddenly. I guess I should know that when you get to 20% it's time to seriously pull over and find a charger.

There is charger available for this bike that doubles the charging time because the Empulse charges at half of Level 2 chargers max charging speed. Perhaps when the warranty expires I will get it, it's $2k investment though =/

It did get cold quick. Thermometer in the truck showed all the way down to 51* on the trip back home.

Jeezis Merlin.
I don't even own an electric bike and you still gave me range anxiety.
I thought about you during my entire 9 mile cruise home.
Good seeing you. Glad you finally made it cold and warm.

That was nice of you to go easy on the old guy, Joe...especially when they no longer matter.

Haha I just wanted to see if it could be done. I didn't pay for a single electron that day also =P After awhile you start to notice signs there is a charge station in the area. But yeah the ride back sucked. I also notice after about 60 miles on the freeway I didn't want to ride anymore because my knees were hurting.
