Really? He was slowing you down while being 1.5 seconds ahead of you? Bish, please.

He runs a good race, to be sure, but there's no need to be disrespectful. I used to root for Cal, but with the crap the pours out of his mouth in every post-race interview, I think it's time for us to see other people.
Dovi did intentionally slow down the pace for quite a few laps.

Smart move on Dovi's part, as the Honda is known to have front tire overheating issues without clean air.

when did they start specifying tire pressures? that's always been up to the rider/mechanics. Never heard of such a thing?

I believe they have a range, which gives then their min/max.

Michelin is going to tell them what that range is, and everything too high or too low would be deemed unsafe.

Marquez's celebration was kinda lame, way better than Jorge, though.

Moto2 and Moto3 use Dunlop tires and I'm sure there is also a specified range of pressure assigned for their tires.

Yeah, it was a bit lame. To be fair though, it's probably pretty hard to think up something that's not cringeworthy. Maybe just go back to the old days, when men were men, and you just grabbed a flag and tooled around back to parc ferme, and the celebration was later that night with all the hookers and blow the mechanics could get their hands on. Have to get all these little fuckers' daddys out the paddock though.

Lap time comparison with Lorenzo's Mugello flag to flag:

Not sure that's a fair comparison though. But yeah, looks like clearly that middle part on lap 9-13 he was 5-8 tenths off what he was capable of.

Okay, fair enough.
It still sounded like whining, especially when it didn't seem to stop MM from getting around Dovi.

Also, that chart only proves one thing: Dovizioso is Batman.

EDIT: Dammit. Ryan beat me to it.
