Ha! I did something similar when I was in high school. My grandfather gave me a McCoy 35 model airplane engine. After taking it apart, polishing the ports and raising the compression ratio (I did the same thing to my father's two stroke lawn mower), I attached the McCoy to the end of a 4x4 with a 12" prop and taking the 4x4 under my arm and with the prop forward of the handle bars, I hopped on my kid brother's bicycle and headed out for a ride. It pulled me along at a pretty good clip. I still have the scar on my thumb where the prop nicked me. Good times!

I also know a guy who fabbed a sort of back pack frame out of sheet metal, bolted a weed whacker engine to it, attached a prop about 24", added a wire cage to keep his back safe, donned his roller skates, and headed out for a lap around the kart track at Praire City. Also good times.

You see a ton of small block V8's mounted up high on poles there too.
I'd hate to live near one.....and there's one directly across the street from all that new housing on the east side of Soscol.
