Not in the bay area, but East bidwell in folsom bugs the crap out of me. I've driven down that road 3 times in the last month of so and have gotten cut off at least once every time. There is a lot of businesses and whatnot along the road so its just constantly filled with people jumping across multiple lanes without turn signals or looking.

Splitting just seems to make it worse for me around there. I'll split most everywhere else though

Maybe they could just add one narrower lane. For motorcycles.
