How many miles do you commute per year - BARF

My truck was new when I started commuting with it 6 years ago. Same commute all those years. It now has 80,000 miles or 13K/year. Thats low compared to some people I've worked with.

Any high mileage barf commuters out there?

im 15 miles one way, about to become 7ish starting next week. I'm at about 15k miles in a year -- including a trip to LA and tahoe

to work? I bicycle 7mi/day (ferry is involved too).
to class? I drive 5mi/day.

the number of miles I put on motor vehicles commuting is pretty negligible.

I did 22k. Bought car new last December. Back and forth from Bay area to Roseville twice a week plus 20 mile round trip once I'm in the Bay area for work. Stay with family during the week

For 5 years I averaged about 22k a year. On top of that my normal driving habits got me to 140,000 miles on my last truck which I just sold. now I only commute 24 miles round trip.

I drive about 35-40k per year for work, but it's not really commuting.

About 1,000 miles per year driving to work, maybe less.
If it wasn't for all the dirt biking trips I take, like the 3000 mile trip to Baja next week and the 800 mile trip to Cedarville I would probably drive less than 4000 miles total per year
After 13 20,000 mile years between Santa Cruz and North San Jose I was done commuting.
And all those miles were on bikes

It used to be around 16k just going to work when I was in PH, it'll be 25k or so from Livermore. Pretty much all bike too, the time and money to drive to the city is just insane, so it's two wheels for me...
