$5500... If I knew someone nearby I'd jump on this in a heartbeat!

Yeah, I think you're right. It's too bad for some dealers who couldn't get enough and sold all they got. My sumo is one of the most versatile & fun bikes I've owned.

But how would you register this here?!

Also, since this a project thread.

Check out the header:

Also if you know me, you'll know I hate tiny turn signals... The PO didn't bother to have them installed correctly either. Just taped 'em up!

I had to buy some OEM signals.

You bought OEM signals? Fuck, you could have used mine, I had extras. Ugh.

Those and the passenger peg eliminators were the only parts I had.

I want to say that the 511 is a 50-state bike, but i'm not sure.

I know motoxotica sold them here, but it was an 'off road' use kinda thing, and they have you an MSO in which you take to the DMV, and more than likely you'll get a plate.

It's kinda like when I bought my '07 SXV. They were not street legal, and it was a gamble when you registered it.

I'm glad you're back in the bike buying/fixing/selling game again. I intend to buy one of your supermotos.

Sitting on an extra set here too. Previous owner swapped everything over for the Euro spec. stuff which is a bit smaller and fits tighter to the bike.
You need a stock exhaust can? Lowering link or springs? Stock foot pegs?

Just finished installing a lhrb on mine and love it, these are great bikes (I've got the R and am looking for some supermoto wheels for it).

I'll take the stock foot pegs if you have them! I am looking for Duke 3 wheels and if I find some, i'll sell you my SM wheels real cheap.

Put on some plastics today, heel guards, chain guard, sliders etc.. I went over the whole bike and replaced any rusted bolt with a fresh one. Made sure I loctite the necessary bolts as well as RTV and some safety wire. I am pretty OCD about my bikes. I've done AFM, and years of track days and never once had a mechanical! Preparation is key!

I've still got a bunch more stuff coming including graphics, and some random plastic bits to replace the sun faded ones.

The white front fender is back ordered, but I should get it in a few days.

Still unsure about what exhaust to go for.. I have the new header coming in, and i'll possibly buy an Akra pipe. Oh and the TuneECU cable as well.
