A partner or a group for SF->LA->

Hello BARF!

I am, 34 years old, web developer who relocated from Israel to SF before 10 months ago.
Never been in LA and now I have the time to plan a great trip.

I have 10 years of riding experience and my current motorcycle is Kawasaki ninja 1,000cc
(not the super sport version; the sport touring version. in Europe it's calls z1000sx).

I interested to explore most of the places that is mandatory to see between SF to LA.
It will be great to break it into two riding days, and then spend 2-3 days in LA.

I have friends in LA, so you can join me to visit them, or split and then meet up later.

I am pretty flexible about the schedule and some people think I am friendly

Feel free to share with me tips.
In CA I have 4 months of riding experience.

Thanks and have a wonderful day

I was planning on doing something like this soon. My thought was to do 2 days each way - find a suitable halfway point/hotel to crash at.

Try this:

Once you get to Ojai, you'll be able to get to wherever you want to go in LA. You can skip the last part from Ojai to Santa Paula, depending on where in LA you are going.

I was gonna visit a friend in long beach soon, and was contemplating a 2 wheeled trip. Thx for the route.

I've got another route via Carmel Valley Rd but there are sections that are quite goaty. I'll post that later when I'm on my laptop.

When are you planning on doing this? I did a trip down last summer with a buddy and rode 33, Muholland, Angeles Crest, etc and it was awesome. Was thinking of doing another trip soon but his bike is down. May be down for this if i can get some new meats in time.

I'd be open for a trip later this summer. Do you have dates in mind? I had that bike - until a cager totaled it. It's a great machine!
