Unfortunately, I think this will be a battle for 2nd, with MM on the top step.

I forgot that the Ducs did so poorly here last year. that makes sense since their primary advantage, their monster drives can only really be used in 1 corner. even their secondary advantage in hard braking is what, 3 corners. ugh, anti-Duc track for sure.

the weather is going to be perfect, mid 70s. so the Yamahas probably won't have grip or tire problems. hopefully they can challenge MM.

ive been saying that Yamaha is the new Duc for a while now. but shit, their championship positions say otherwise.

Folger challenged MM last year here, and finished P2. Other Yams weren't far off the podium, but were 14 seconds behind. Seems like the 2018 M1 is better than the 2017, so there could be hope.

Looking at the lap times over the race, only Marquez, Folger and Pedrosa broke into the 1:21s, while the other Yams were relegated to 1:22s. Being a second slower surely won't beat Marc, but with Pedrosa having already retired, we may still see a good P2 and below battle(s).

how many times did he crash at COTA? with a near complete lack of pressure this weekend, I bet he won't bin it nearly as often as normal.

The pole reveals barf peeps maturing to realize MM is maturing and is a dominant force.

He will be hard to beat for sure.
A slip up to tighten up the Chip would be great, but...

Go Folger!!! Oops

it'll be cool if the Suzukis are more competitive here like they have been at other tracks this year. it shouldn't be hard to improve on last years results

That sucks. I actually prefer sachsenring over nurburgring gp configuration.
