Normally I would agree, but over the last few years, the fastest bike and most stable has been the Duc. The Honda has been an unbroken stallion. The Yamaha has been a regressive turd. The Suzuki is peaking. Aprilia and KTM meh.

I think the only thing that will have noticeable comparative improvement is the Yamaha. Maybe Lorenzo on the Honda will provide some insight into Honda's baseline, as MM93 could win on a Schwinn.

We're less than a month from the Sepang tests.

I read that it was a double stress fracture as a result of his previous breaks, not from something that happened while testing. I thought he was having pain and strength problems and they detected it after the test. Trellis frame is not for weak collarbones.

It's a known fact that Dani's bones are made out of Pringles.

yesterday, per Julian Ryder:

"Dani’s injury is a stress fracture which happened because of previous damage that left a section of bone with inadequate blood supply. The press release says recovery will involve stem-cell treatment as well as grafts, and it will take time. Not good news for the KTM program"

I had a stress fracture in my foot that ended my competitive running.

Bummer for Dani.

and KTM.

I think this will be a good year for Rins as well.

I am not ready to say Ducati's ship has sailed yet, but I really doubt we will see a lot of improvement from Petrux. I still think Miller would have had a better shot at stepping up his game.

Hopefully I am wrong.!

Mat Oxley's column in the latest issue of RoadracingWorld states Joe Roberts' curiously labeled "American Team" may still be looking for funding for 2019. Oxley reports that the investment firm that sponsored the former Interwetten and Swiss Innovative Investors team never paid Tom Luthi bonus money he was due from 2017 and never paid Sam Lowes any salary in 2018 along with not delivering promised funding for the team and suppliers. Welcome to racing.

Joe Roberts' manager has supposedly bought half the team (whatever that means) and is working having a bike and crew ready for the February Moto2 tests.
