1993 Honda CBR 900RR

1993 Honda CBR 900RR (08/1992 VIN date)
Asking price: $5900 OBO
Mileage: 8,915
Current condition: Very good to excellent - Stock
Maintenance history: I have had the bike for a couple of years, bought it not running and had it serviced at the Motor Cafe in Sunnyvale. Details below
Accident history: I scratched the muffler on the wall of my home, did a half baked job of respraying it. No other incidents I can detect
Location: San Carlos, CA
Reason for selling: Need the room in my shop and have other bikes I am riding more

Hard to find stock configuration, no mods except the installation drop pegs, the period Corbin seat and period matching passenger pad. Stock pegs available. Maintenance service is current, including about 500 miles on the German Metzler Sportec M3 tires. Stock rims.

*Oil and filter change (using synthetic Honda Oil)
*Air filter
*Engine Coolant flushed and replaced
*Brake fluid
*Spark plugs
*All fuel and coolant lines, hoses, gaskets, are in super nice shape
*Complete carburetor service carbs rebuilt, cleaned and synchronized
*Chain Serviced
*New Barnett clutch and cable
*Battery was replaced two years ago and a battery tender connection installed
*All bodywork is in very nice shape, tank has no dents, side panels are almost flawless, however there are a few scratches on the tank and rear bodywork behind the passenger pad. I can provide images
*California Registration is current paid until August 2019
*Factory labels intact and in great shape, VIN 8/93 date, tire pressure and chain caution
*Title in hand and ready for transfer

I have more images and can send to you if interested.

The bike is in very nice shape, no leaks, starts immediately hot or cold and runs as it should. Test ride ok with full cash price in hand.

starting with the more common ones that would fit well in the same garage:

1969 CB750
1975 CB750f
1979 CB750F
1981 CB900F
1983 cb1100F

you need all of them!

Back when big butts where all the rage on a sportbike. I could almost stuff as much in my K1 GSXR1K. But that was last liter bike I could put a bottle of gatorade in.

Good luck with the sale OP, hope you enjoyed those couple years you had.
