2013 Suzuki DL650 VStrom 650 ($$ drop)

Lowered to $5500
Selling my beautiful and well cared for DL650 VStrom ABS. Always garaged and adult owned. It has only been street ridden since I have owned it. This is a very comfortable and great performing bike that will last a loooong time. Here are the details in no specific order.
19051 miles with valve check done and in spec
Heated grips
Stock aluminum hard cases- made by SW-Motech for Suzuki. super strong and nice
Throttle lock -for those long painful rides
Taller windscreen
Side crash bars- little rash from previous owner
Side winglets- helps eliminate turbulence up against the upper torso
Garage door opener button installed- just wire it up to your remote and no more digging in your pockets
Mount for rear top case
New brakes last November
New stuff in April:
Bridgestone T31 tires- ( best sport touring tires I've ever owned)
Peg lowering kit- can be removed easily w/ 3 bolts
Shifter extension- uses stock lever so it’s reversible
New in May:
Fork oil change
Rox Bar risers-2" up and back. fully adjustable and removable
Chain and sprockets- went up a tooth in the front for better freeway rpm's
Givi XS308 tank bag- has quick release tank lock system- it's awesome! Check it out http://youtu.be/hQFFRh2ePDc
Always well maintained with synthetic oil and chain lubed every 350-400 miles
Clean title in hand with no issues
Of course a few small scratches here and there but nothing major to speak of. See the pics and there are more if you want them
$5500obo
Come checkout your new bike, you won't be disappointed!

Dropping a tooth would increase RPMs. Adding a tooth for a 16T front sprocket (stock is 15T) would drop about 500 RPM at freeway speeds. Added bonus? Fixes the speedo error.

This is a must-have on the Gen2 650, it is so cramped unless you have really stubby legs. I haven't done this yet but as soon as I get my new tires this is a top priority.

Bridgestone T31 tires- ( best sport touring tires I've ever owned)
Help me! I am ready to pull the trigger on new tires for my 2014 DL650A but the choices make my head spin. I am considering Metzler Tourance or RoadTec01, Pirelli Scorpion or Angel GT or the Bridgeston T31. I got back into riding about 5 years ago but my only tire experience has been with the Michelin Pilot Road 3 and 4 which are really grippy tires but are expensive and don't last. Please advise, why is the BS T31 the best and have you tried any of tires I mentioned. Thank! and GLWS

You are absolutely right! I have no idea why I put ďdroppingĒ a tooth. Iím at 16. Probly the old habit of down one up two for the track. Thank you, ill change the ad.

Well, the T31 may not be better than the tires you have mentioned, but it IS better than all the touring tires Iíve riden. These are as close to track style grip and performance that I have had since i stopped riding the track. The profile is fairly tall so they fall into the corner effortlessly and once in your line, are rock solid while at lean. I donít have any info on longevity but to be honest, I would rather re-buy an new set of tires I love then have a set of tires I hate that lasts for a ton of miles. I want to be comfortable and happy with what I use. Iím so confident in these tires that if you donít like them Iíll buy them from you!
Also Bridgestone says these are supposed shed water like a ducks back but that is yet to be determined. Let me know what you go with, I would like to know.
Thanks for the heads up also

Ha Ha, what an offer! I don't think its necessary, I am sure the T31's are fine as other riders give them a good review too. I wouldn't expect to hate them so much that I'd replace them before wearing them out.

Gearing up to pull the trigger on an order tonight. I never off-road, rarely use dirt or gravel roads so I use my 'Strom strictly as a street bike, mainly in the twisties with occasional slabbing. The bike still has the original tires (Bridgestone Trailwings) and which have tread left but are 5+ years old and handle like crap, so anything will be an upgrade.

Would you sell the tank bag separately?

My 2012 came with Metzler Tourance and I just replaced with the same. No complaints.

OP, looks like a great bike. Basically has the same mods as mine(the mods I would want). Wish the valves and fork oil had been done on mine when I bought it!! I would have bought this bike over my 2012 that needed to be serviced if I hadn't already bought one. I LOVE MY V-STROM!!! So happy I bought one. Good luck with the sale.
