haha maybe. I think there's a line of potential buyers.

I did! Just minor mods though. FCR carb, and 13mm radial master cylinder.

Yes! I bought some more parts for the KTM -- which is dumb, since I'll probably be selling it.

Also went to check out the Panigale.

just finished reading man... your last build is so beautiful its exactly how i would want my bike to be down to the fairing! you were right on every point about how the bike handles like a truck with slow turn in!! its pretty annoying.

690 SMC handling

I have a 2010 with white/black scheme as well. Took all the decals off. My buddies call it the storm trooper bike. i felt the same way about the handling at first so I put a 1 5/8" Koubalink in lowering the ass end and slid the forks up about an inch and that helped turn in immensely. As far as the stiffness, it feels ok to me but I'm a shade over 200 lbs so that may be a factor. Love this bike. Picked it up for $ 5k with 2,800 miles on it. It at 8k miles now with no problems other than a fuel pump. Cheers to the nice build.

Oh yeah, I replaced the seat as soon as I rode the thing. I put a seat concepts seat on and never looked back. I've done 6 hours on the thing in Baja and was as comfortable as can be expected after 6 hours in the saddle.

removing the fork preload spacers did the trick for me!

You got a 2010 bike, for $5K, that's a steal of a lifetime!

I have about a thousand dollars of parts coming in for this new bike. Can't wait to get started.
