rain? Is that when water just falls out of the sky? Must be some kind of merical. I seem to remember experiencing it in the past.

Argyll MX (near dixon) has been epic lately. If you have a real dirt bike and the balls for it, Argyll is super fun. Not too crowded like 408MX; they don't break practice up into 3 groups like Club Moto often does; they don't water while it's still muddy like Hangtown; it's not unrideable until 11 am like the main track at MMX. And for you newer riders out there, you can double all the triples and still have a lot of fun. My favorite place to ride these days.

Here's a 1 lap video. The track has changed since then and is even better if you ask me.

Sandhill is open again (now called Diablo MX). Info at diablomxranch.com

Went there a few weeks ago, had a lot of fun. They do break practice into 3 groups, which sucks, but I still managed to get a fair amount of track time. The prep was good, the dirt was good, the track was challenging while still very safe. Really a class act. If I lived closer it would be in my regular rotation for sure.

Argyll is still great, Hangtown is still muddy, MMX is still good but could be better (the main track needs to be ripped a little deeper?), E street is still sand, and motocross is still the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

Any easy dirt roads around sac/amador county?

If you know of any routes that have some relatively easy roads that I can practice some skills on, please post or PM me.

Thanks!
