In and Out burger's "animal style" burgers are great. It's not listed on the menu, but known to some burger eaters. But, why is it called "animal style"?

Guess I'll hafta do some independent research and eat more burgers. It's a nasty job, but someone's gotta do it.

The title was fine the way it was. What's next, censorship? Wait, don't answer that! hehe.

Don't know about you, but In-N-Out is among the worst burgers I've ever had. And I've tried different locations, too. :green

They call it animal styule because the guy gets behind the woman and fucks her like a beast while grunting. Occasionally the woman will turn her head and snap at the man (also very animal like).

Nope, no need for clarification on the title.

I have the answer

I worked at the Inn-out in san Ramon for almost 2 years and the reason they call the burger “animal style” is because they do a couple of things differently then a “normal” burger. The difference is that the animal style burger gets chopped grilled onions along with more veggies and fixinz then the normal burger. Also they will put the mustard/ketchup on the bun and then toast it all together. They also do “animal style” frys too. They will add melting cheese to the normal fryz along with spread on top. And of course they can customize the burger/cheese combinations to create as big a burger as you want. For example 3x3 (is obviously 3 cheese 3 meat) but if you wanted to do a 4x6 it would be 4 cheese 6 meat (rocket science here huh LOL). :twofinger
Many people don’t know this but you can also order “Scooby Snacks” through the drive up window and they will give ya the meat and cheese in the wrapper only (no bun no fixinz just literally meat/cheese in the little plastic bun holder wrapper. This is done because the owner of Inn-Out had a dog named (of all things) “Scooby” and he wanted to be able to get his dog just the meat/cheese as a snack whenever he went through the drive up window area.
That being said, Inn-Out did the unthinkable from a marketing standpoint. With out spending millions in advertising, Inn-Out has the “buzz” of any and everyone who goes there just by creating the “secret” menu. Obviously they did something right because everyone who goes to inn-out has either herd of or gets the animal style burger and it’s the only burger place that has it.
Lastly, I believe that I still, to this day hold the record at the San Ramon Inn-Out for the biggest burger eaten at one sitting. I actually consumed an 18x18 :wow (yes seriously) and they took my pic/put it up in the window case for a week! (as a side note I was 30 pounds heavier at that time and was sick for a week BUT it was sooo worth it LOL) Hope this helps sorry about the long post!

There's no way theres a Flying Dutchman on the menu. You order that and the person is gonna say "huh?" while some nerd thousands of miles away shakes with laughter over an obscure reference...
