I bought and installed the backrest last week so today we decided to test it on a longer ride. Without it she was really complaining after 100 miles.
Today we rode longer than that.
Here's the route
And now to pictures.
Thru the Monitor Pass

And back home. Overall it took us 11 hours with all the stops we did. It was a good day. The backrest works great!

Very nice trip. Gawd, I wish I lived near Lake Tahoe and didn't have to grind out 100 miles on the slab before the roads get interesting...

And I called the tracked Suburban in Dardanelles first!

I would love to drive that thing around in the snow, looks like a great rig :thumbup

did you sign the bathroom, kevin350?

:laughing

Actually, I did...on the other side of the chalkboard. I just put "BARF" with my weak attempt at a :twofinger but it might have been erased.

Great pics, looks like the snow is melting fast up at the top of Sonora Pass. Can't wait to do Ebbetts and get some more BBQ...

Thanks for the pics! My sis used to live in South Shore so it'd always cool to see roads up there. Hey, check out a sissy bar bag at Fox Creek Leather, just get the Heavy leather one $95. It would add a little storage and look great. They have saddlebags too.

That suburban gives the term 'urban assault vehicle' new meaning. Gorgeous pictures! I definitely will have to make that ride one of these days.

cycle61 - yes, you did. I didn't see it there last year.
kevin350 - you're excused :) I think it's pretty cool idea to prevent people from destroing the restroom
