Hello, this is my YSR. Bought it back in january. It was a complete turd. I bought for $400 shipped with title. My plan was to swap a YZ80 motor in it. Then i got the sickness like i do with all my bikes...... and got REALLY out of hand. My whole idea was to do something some what orignal. Bike is about 80% done. Heres a few pics of my build.

The day i got it.

Im currenty working on getting a really nice shock. Im also try'n to figure out how to get a Honda RS125 forks to fit. It will be painted very soon. I have got it to 97MPH on a GPS with no body work. Im doing some sprocket changes to get me over 100MPH easy. Its really fun and stupid fast. Big boar over to summer. More to come.......

sexy bike and nice looking fairings! wow putting in an air cooled motor looks so much easier!!!

Yeah...I love that underseat exhaust...I wish I could do something like that on the 250F but I have a Radiator & Oil Sump I need to avoid.....Cool mod motor, did you extend the swingarm at all???? My guess is you will need to brace it as well..... I was looking at that same dash on E-Bay....

I have a KYB NSR shock, to give away...

How much room is there for the 520 chain and or sprocket? Or what did you need to do to make it work, if any?

Well its a NSR50 swing arm so it 2in longer than stock, im waiting on my G-Craft 2in over swingarm so it will be 2in longer than now. The gauages are a great bang for buck.

Plenty of room. i wanted to go smaller but i can only get a front sprocket in 520 (and yes i did check with sprocket specialists) The could only make a 520 also. Getting the motor alingment straight was the hardest part.

"How is your digital speedo/tach connected?"

Its eletrical, the bike runs off the stock stator (No bat) Speedo picks up with a magnet like a bike.

If you want to read the full build got to the link.

Cool build. I kind of like it without bodywork better - looks mean that way, purposeful. Speaking of the bodywork, did you get those 125 panels from a guy who goes by Tsukuba on various forums and runs RMD Motors?

Was kinda street fighter esk.... My buddy has a Super bad ZB so it was fun to run arroung fairing less. I think when is painted it will look alot better. Hopefull ill get to painting it this weekend. I got the body from the guy at RMD, he imports alot of Japan race parts. Not sure on his name.

Update....
I now have carbon fiber frame gussets. They turned out darker red than i wanted... they may go gloss black. Ill have the body (painted) on in the next day or so. But the tail looks good the the gussets together.

I still have a few things to do, finish my headlight cover (which i broke this morning), "sponcer" decals on the bottom, few odds and ends left on the body. Better pics up later today. Anyways enjoy.
