Okay, that was freakin' killer. If you want to try a Luckett Ride, be prepared to RIDE! I think we did about 980 miles over the two days, about 500 of them in dirt. I missed Nor Cal I but Nor Cal II was fabulous and Nor Cal III was even better, I can't wait for Nor Cal IV. Very strong pace, very few crashes, very minor injuries, very light damage to the bikes. Thanks to all for waiting up and helping me through the hard parts. Onto the pics:
After Ross took the Double Jump on the first Goat Trail, we had to stop and fix his license plate. Even with 32" of suspension travel, his rear tire took out his plate on the landing. Nice save, Ross, that could have been ugly.
First stop on the first of a hundred dirt sections
Chris cuddles with his new love
Road Open
"I think it opens up"
Chris takes the low road...
While Bert mans-up and takes the high road
