Girl Wonder traded the GB-500 and 1500 cash for a 2002 Ducati ST2 with 7k miles on the clock, FBF full SS exhaust w/cf pipes, FI chip, ZG screen, sargent seat, billet bar risers and footpeg relocators. Other than that, unmolested and pristine.

What a trade!! A GB500!!!! Unbelievable but there's the pics!!!
 
Well, we made it home, everything is unpacked... I 'upgraded' the clutch cover for Girl Wonder so her Ducati sounds 'authentic' now. The world is in balance.

The garage on the otherhand, looks freaking sweet.

It went to a good home. A friend of ours is too short to ride much of anything, and she has really had a hard time finding motorcycles she fits on. Her husband had the Ducati ST2 and a Harley, and they really want to go riding together instead of two-up.

Girl Wonder is pretty much -over- the GB500, it was a nice introduction to streetbikes having stepped up from race Vespas (yes, they exist) But after two seasons of 170+ horsepower F1 sidecars she wanted something on the street that when you turn the throttle it does more than just get louder without any noticeable difference in forward velocity.

She fit perfectly on the GB-500, so a trade was worked up, and we did the switch on Sunday. He's selling his Harley and looking at a ST3 that's on consignment that has lots of goodies on it. So she has a motorcycle she fits on, he'll have a Ducati ST3, and Girl Wonder sat in the garage last night with a glazed look in her eyes drooling... in the first stages of Ducati lust.

Won't need to. If I was riding a sportbike and my knees where closer to my chest, that would be a problem.

It does look like big bird got put through a juicer.

Welcome to the double-double non-fat cream with extra froth mocchiato side of the riding world. :laughing I trust that you *won't* be investing in the matching leathers--although that would make you look like a banana from Hell on the freeway. You'd have to buy a brown helmet. :devil That would be somewhat awesome. :cool

Oh God no! I hate yellow and I look terrible in it! :teeth

I'll be talking to our vinyl guy soon. I am starting to fall in love with this bike though, so now I need to make it my own!
