had the bike for over 2 years. was T boned last year, which resulted ina a salvage title has a tiny ding on frame from the rad cap( which was plastic and still didn't break and you would never find it unless I showed you) couple scratches on swinger. currently has just the headlight and tail plastic. brake side sato rearset slightly bent. no dampener
the bike needs a starter clutch and I.m interested in another bike so I'm fishing to see interest, possibly part out.
2001 RSVR

airbox mod
arrow exhaust
rsv subframe so you can 2up ride( have pegs,seat)
95% new pilot rear
new chain ,sprockets
charging mod( done by scuderia)
sato rear sets
bike runs great( besides starter clutch), was inspected and defucked by scuderia after accident
all the usual suspect " R " shit( ohlins, oz rims)

this thing will win no beauty contests and is pretty loud, but is solid/ no leaks,etc
open to reasonable offers or trade for RZ / RD 350
$2000 best offer/ only plastic coming with bike is what is in the pictures

i dunno what its worth as a bike? I don't need money, so I'm not giving it away. so selling it out right for cash is going to be lower than a trade on a RZ that would probably bring $2-2,500. I don't have a photo account, but have pics to email. not very smart with computers

damn for $2000 i'd almost buy the thing and part it out myself!!!!
 
so since so many asked.... i keep it on battery tender. it will start fine if fully charged. i would say it would be fine for a couple more months. hell i still ride it, its just something that it will need.
oh and b/o doesnt mean $1000. i would just set it on fire first
 
this is sooo not what i need (another rsv)... but are the forks straight? also, is there any reason why you don't put the plastics back on?

might i suggest you hold out a little longer, as this is very intriguing to me and i think i have all my tax return documents finally... the tax return fairy is about to make her rounds :teeth

whoops I forgot. side fairings and belly pan are not going with it at this price. i will edit the first post

all the ram air ductwork is shattered. that what holds the fairings

scuderia said its fine, i say its fine, but hasn't been put on a rack as far as being straight

bike is actually in pretty good shape, but if i say that, some bozo will look at and complain about my description
