well I was going to post this before Joe posted the pics of the bike at thunder Hill but I got suspended before I could do so LOL..

ANYWAYS!

In February my buddy Han had an accident on his 07 R6 and totaled it. Thankfully he was OK for the most part. the damage to the bike was mostly cosmetic and a broken sub frame. I got a phone call from Joe asking if I wanted to buy it, for a really cheap price.

Joe loaded up the R6 in the Element, which was surprising that it actually fit, to deliver it to me, THANKS JOE!!

Once I got the bike I started stripping off all the busted and broken stuff off, replaced the subframe and tank

wanting to get rid of that huge heavy stock exhaust system. I started to do some research on what fits and what doesnt. turns out the 03-05 R6 header is a direct bolt on to the 06-07. lucky for me I found a set of Graves full titanium headers on ebay for 80 bucks! And I already had a spare Graves Ti can from my R1 that I got cut down and mocked up to fit.

Great job on the bike Toe!:party:thumbup

Oh yeah, thanks for sharing the story on your project

Glad your friend is ok now. Awesome job on the bike I saw it at THill this weekend, looks nice.

Joe & Toe - I had no idea you guys were going to put the "paint by Tim Scarrott" on the bike. I helped with the project because I thought it was bad ass, and you guys are my bros. I am humbled and very appreciative of the recognition on the bike and very excited to see the project complete. You guys rock & I've got cold beers for you next time I see you!
