Lowering my expectations
1994 Honda NSR 250R SP Rothmans Replica MC28
Clean CA Title and Plates.
SOLD!!!
This is a real 94 Rothmans SP, correct VIN and R3R code on subframe.
It has all of the correct SP parts, adj suspension, dry clutch, Magteks etc etc.
Only a handful of these left in the states and even fewer CA plated.
In the last 700 miles it has had the following done:
Fresh engine, NEW crank, NEW cylinders, New top end, NEW clutch.
NEW Clutch and throttle cables, NEW Overflow reservoir.
Bike was disassembled when engine was gone through and every bearing greased, seals, bushings etc all gone through.
Following parts are ALL NEW in last 800 miles from Honda Japan!
Fuel Tank
Forks (correct SP forks, were stupid money new from Honda!)
Triples
PGM4 Tach/speedo
Seat
The bike runs flawlessly, mechanically needs nothing, tires are very recent.
Currently setup for Pre-Mix but includes all of the oil injection equipment, stock pipes, slightly altered jetting, HRC front cylinder head modification, braided lines, otherwise all stock.
Some of the bodywork on it right now is knock off Chinese which looks find but really should be replaced, the tail section is OEM, the upper and lowers are Chinese. One complete Chinese tail section is included as is one left OEM lower cowl, so the bike just needs a right side lower and upper to be all back to OEM Honda.
Also included are a number of OEM new Honda Rothmans decals for various parts of the bodywork!!

Front OEM V-Cowl (off the bike right now)
Some new spare clutch discs
Spare rear sprockets
Maybe some other odds and ends.
Mechanically one of the most sorted NSR's I have ever had, cosmetically not perfect, but not bad, just needs a few more OEM pieces to be correct (as it should be!)
The money in the engine, tank, forks, triples etc etc alone is several thousand dollars, and all very recent.
