Kolb SV650
2000 SV650 Custom, Naked, Street Fighter
Reluctantly selling my SV650 Street Fighter which was built in 2006 by Kolb Machine, Inc. of Saugerties NY
Bike started out as a mint 2001 SV650 which I purchased from the original owner with 3800 miles on the clock. After riding the bike a few times I decided it really needed better suspension and brakes. I enlisted the services of my long time friend Scott Kolb to swap out the shock and do something about the forks. Then the project, as they often do, got a bit out of hand.
For those that don't know Scott Kolb, he is one of the main men behind the well known Team Incomplete BMW Boxer.

Several years and thousands of dollars later, I received back a totally trick, beautifully finished and highly improved motorcycle, which has been dubbed, the Kolb SV650. The bike had been expertly and completely transformed from a mild mannered, middle weight twin into a bike that looks and performs like a high-end exotic.
In 2006 this bike won the Cycle World Custom Sportbike Competition, first at the NYC motorcycle show and then the national win against all the other winners from across the country. It has been featured on motorcycle blogs, shown in Sport Bike Rider magazine and has twice won the SVRider.com bike of month competition.
Specs:
Motor - Motor is stock with custom made pipe/Dynojet kit. It was extensively dyno tuned and carburets beautifully. Peak horse is 77hp. Motor is strong and crisp with no issues ever. Low end and mid range were greatly improved from stock. Oil has been changed religiously. Estimated mileage is around 6500 miles, but probably much less. Switched out stock gauges for a Vapor electronic tach/speedo and the bike has no odometer. I have put about 1000 street miles on the bike and it has about 6 track days on it. That's it ..
Chassis - Polished alloy frame from a 2000 SV650 (clean Connecticut Title in hand), complete 2004 GSXR600 front end (re-valved /re-sprung); Attack Performance Adjustable Offset Triple Clamps; Penske Ultimate - 8900 w/ Titanium Spring ; Ghezzi&Brian headlights and fairing; Fat Bars; CRG levers and mirrors; Woodcraft rearsets; Veypor tach/speedo; VFR750 Single Sided Swing-arm; 916 rear wheel; custom subframe; Sargent seat; fresh Michelin Power Pures.
Paint job by Sean Lezotte of Connecticut Cycle Refinishing
This bike is in mint condition, has never been dropped or crashed and has no scratches, dents or blemishes of any kind. This is a seriously good handling, comfortable and reliable bike that can be street ridden, track ridden or both. You will not be disappointed . . .
I am asking for $8500 ..
Will trade for new KTM Duke 690 ..
