Dude, you are seriously good at flying RC heliocopters

I think if I tried to fly an RC helicopter it would look just like that. Except it wouldn't be deliberate, and would end with it crashing into my car :laughing

haha, I was thinking the same thing. Maybe he was trying to achieve level, stable flight and he's just really bad at it. :laughing

Seriously though, I don't know which part impresses me more; that the helicopter can do that or that he can make it do that.

unpossible muthafackin horsepower manuvering wow

So.... Someone needs to explain to me how an RC helicopter hovers upside-down. Does the engine reverse direction, blades switch direction, magic?

Got it. Amazing skill required to do that, for sure. I can barely handle my PS3 controller. I can't even imagine all the inputs required to make that happen.

I own one. Go to a hobby store and play with the flight sim. It will take you weeks or months just to get one to take off, fly around in a controlled level circle, and land again.

An amazing amount of skill and concentration goes into flying those things. I don't even fly mine cause I know I can't handle it.

Is that thing electric? If not, how the heck does he keep the engine fed with all those maneuvers?

His was electric, you can tell because it doesnt have a little 2 stroke rev, or the tell tale blue smoke.

They come in gas and electric models. The tanks on the gas heli's are made in a way that they have a constant fuel supply.

My dad flies RC helicopters. Says it's taken him months just to do really basic stuff. He plays with it daily for maybe 20 minutes at a time and has several years' history of flying RC planes. :wow I bet if you give one of these to some seven year old kid who likes video games, he'll be doing this crap in a few days. :laughing

Reminds me of those birds you see around beaches and shorelines. They have unbelievably reflexes and could probably pass in one window and out the other of that helicopter during those maneuvers.

More like four year old kid.

My dad's gonna crap the bed when he sees this. I think I'll save it for Father's Day and spring it on him. (He's super-competitive.) :laughing

Anyone else wondering how many RC helicopters he had to crash to get that good?
