It looks like I get a free day Sunday! Anyone want to join me for a scenic tour of the East and South Bay? The plan is to start in Danville, head out toward Crow Canyon Via Blackhawk Rd, go South on Palomares, then over Calavares Rd, then grab Mt. Hamilton Rd, grab a snack at the Junction, then continue on Mines Rd. if you have enough energy we can attack Morgan Terroitory and call it a day?

I'm flexible on meeting location, but I want to start early. Like rolling at 8am. So, meet up is 7:30.

These are technical roads, and it's a long day. New riders are welcomed, and I will ride as slow as needed to accommodate you. If we get a group that wants to go fast, we can split up.

Gary J's memorial ride takes precedence. :thumbup

And you didn't include Norris Canyon. :x

I'm not much of a celebrity, so a small turnout is awesome...
Startbucks in Danville?
#1 Railroad Ave. Danville, Ca.

7:30 am. KSU 8am.

FWIW, I MoTerr'd today, and the road was clean. after Calaveras and Mines, dont know WHY you'd want to wade thru Sunday traffic to get there, but, hey, when youre on a roll....:ride

I am thinking of joining you for the ride tomorrow...but I don't feel like having a crazy/fast/tech ride, if I come I'll slow you guys down.

Channelcat: Thanks for the info! I pass Mo Terr on my way back from Mines, so it's a Why not? situation...

Lee: Please see my original posting... New riders are welcome, and I have no problem going slow. I do not desire to see how fast I can crash, nor do I want any performance awards from the LEO crowd. You are cordially invited!

Pancho: See you for coffee...

I am not sure that 30+ years on a motorcycle qualify as a new rider :) , it's just that I am not necessarily crazy about knee-scraping type riding.

In any case, by later tonight I'll know if I can join you or not, I'll post if I can.

I ride a Buell, not much knee dragging going on there...
I live in fear of well ridden Ninja 250's

FWIW, Crow Canyon is being repaved so certain sections are torn up pretty good - last week it was really bad from the Norris canyon junction out towards Cull. Have fun...that's a long ride!
