Barfers were invited over to Pakistan in 2013 for the first time to riding up the Himalayas with me.. 2013 saw 2 of you in Pakistan however, 2014 saw 12 of you..

Im planning to run these tours one more time. 2015 is going to be busy with BARF and a lot of riding in the Himalayas, Hindukush and the Karakorom mountain ranges.

For 2016 I have other plans and I will be busy with those (inshAllah). 2015 is dedicated to Pakistan and BARF.

So I come to you for suggestions/opinions.

Vote above so I can get a better idea of what interested riders would be able to do scheduling wise. I hope to be able to work around the majorities preference.

3 weeks was epic but not long enough. I am definitely coming back for more.
 
It would be nice to hear what the cost estimates would be. I know it sucks to worry about such things for a once in a lifetime experience, but I would need to budget :teeth

About cost- I would say to budget for flight ($1,500-$2,000), visa costs ($150), and approximately $1,250 per week in PK.

A very rough estimate but still gives you an idea

My ultimate vote would be two weeks but with the 3 week riding option.
 
Or like last time two weeks, with an option to come early to explore Lahore/Islamabad.

Riding is kool and all, but kind of hard to explore the area and meet the people once riding portion of the tour starts.
 
I voted 2 weeks, with time off the bike to enjoy the surroundings. That was essentially the trip I just took, and it was perfect. I also vote for earlier starts on the riding days. :teeth

Agree, 8 is a good start time. 7-8 for breakfast, and coffee. :teeth

I hear one member on the trip likes his beauty sleep. :p
