Picked up a white '06 VFR ABS on Craigslist yesterday. Feels good to be back on a V4. Took her out for a getting-acquainted jaunt up Mt Ham this morning...

Meanwhile, the FZ1N is getting a going-through prior to being put up for sale. Watch for that thread in a few days...

very nice. I just got back from a 3 day 1800 mile road trip around the southwest on my 2002 VFR. Oh and BTW, very nice garage.

Congrats, Kegan! :thumbup

Sweet bike! It looks so... Star War-ish. :cool

FZ1N... Is that a conversion kit?

Jealous with envy of that garage (and all the toys in it).

Yeah, well I just back from... my 15-minute morning 680 commute. :x Maybe this will be the excuse I need to get away for an overnight trip somewhere. I wonder if I can fit kiddo in one of the sidebags...

I cannot top that one ... But I still love riding my VFR ! Ha !
Kegan, let's ride sometime soon ... I love Mt Hammy :).

Fo sho :teeth What days are you off?

And what a cool garage! :drool

All I did was fix it up a bit. Thanks for helping me to actually find/buy it! :thumbup

FZ1N... Is that a conversion kit?
Not a kit. That's how they are sold in Europe (FZ1 is the naked bike, "Fazer" is the half-faired version that we get here), and those are all factory Yamaha parts out of the catalog (well, except for the obvious aftermarket bits like mirrors, etc). One of the previous owners did the swap before I got it.

I remember seeing that VFR on CL. Glad a bafer has it. Also is that you selling the fz1N for 7k right now? I want a fz1...the N looks so much better. I'd be interested but think that's overpriced for a fZ

I rode a VFR ('04) for the first time ever today. Awesome bike. Would love to own one. Oh and nice shop.

Yeah, I had my eye on it for a while, debating in my head whether I should. Then the throttle cable on the FZ1 snapped on my way into work one morning last week, and I took that as a sign... called the guy that day, picked it up the next.

The FZ1 is not listed yet, still waiting on a replacement throttle cable to arrive and get installed. It'll be listed at waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay less than 7 grand!

Haha, yeah, I had a red '04 for several years a while ago (the one in my avatar). They are wonderful machines :)

Thanks for all the comments on the garage, too :thumbup
