Old guys @ Carnegie. 8/27/16

I am! Are you guys doing bbq stuffs? Need me to bring anything?

Lunch Box was talking BBQ.
I'm in, but I suck at that part of planning.
I can bring stuff but I need to be told what to bring.
In the past, I've left my house with my gear bag but no helmet and charcoal but no BBQ. I know my strengths.....and weaknesses. :laughing

:wave

Don't they have grills at many of the parking spots?

I figure we can bring some basic stuff to grill up. That was, of course, when we were discussing it in the PW thread and Mike V and some others were talking about going. Maybe we should post over there to see if other folks want to join us or not? If it's just the three of us, we may as well just eat at the store, or bring sammiches. Grilling only makes sense if there's a crowd, IMO.

What time do you guys wanna meet there? Earlier is always better for me, but I'm flexible.

Yes, they do have grills in several spots.
....and yes, I'll be there early. I'm gonna aim for 9:00
....and yes again, this stuff should be mentioned in the sink as well.

Takes me about 2:15 to get there, so I probably won't be there too early. I'll aim for ~10am.

Think I'll aim for 9:30, load up the bikes the night before and get on the road by 7:15.

Bikes all gassed up, tire pressure checked and made sure they still run. :p

Good idear, should probably see if I can find the gopro as well...

Dirt bike ride. Sounds like the BBQ isn't happening. Just a few old, slow guys riding around at Carnegie.

I would like to attend BUT I too know some of my limitations and don't want to hold you guys up if what you're actually saying is "pro riders with gray hair hauling butt around Carnegie"

Then I'm out. I have very little dirt experience over the last 20 years and I'll be riding a DR650.

On the other hand, if you ACTUALLY MEAN slow old guys riding around, well, in that case I'll fit right in and see you guys there.

What's the 411?

:ride

Chris, it would be great to see you out there. I would welcome the opportunity to personally thank you for all that you do for us dirty guys. And no, that wasn't false modesty. A few of the guys are fast, but I just putt around.

Oh and you are welcome to take a spin on my little KDX if you like. :thumbup

Sounds like we are meeting at 9-ish, with a few folks coming in a bit later. We haven't picked a specific meetup spot yet. Does anyone have a favorite?

Jeff, you know Carnegie far better than I ever will. Where should we park?

(confused) You're welcome? (I think you might have me confused with someone else)

Oops, I think I did. See, I'm old and confused. :laughing

Regardless, come on out and have some fun. I'll still personally thank you for all that you have done, even if it is nothing. :twofinger

Can we pleeeeaaase still do a lil bbq? I'm happy to bring some stuffs.

Park at the mx track on the far right?

Bums me out when someone is concerned about speed, anyone who is thinking about it should come out. We ain't racin! :)

Wait, the MX track is on the left as you enter Carnegie, isn't it? Sure, let's do some BBQ. I'll bring some goodies to grill.

So...to the left as you enter. Cool. I thought I was losing my mind for a minute. :laughing
