HadesOmega and 1962siia88 Ride to San Borja

Merry Christmas Daniel! I know you've been waiting to see this video all year.

This is a ride me, 1962siia88, Impish9090, and EricB did on the last day of the BARF Baja ride earlier this year. It was an epic ride because it was a nice road to the Mission of San Borja. Nothing too difficult nothing too easy and totally scenic. I missed out last year because I wound up slabbing it back the whole way to BOLA because I had a bad crash that left the DR with a really bent handle bar and I was pretty beat up.

Sorry it took so long, I never finished the Baja thread and hope to soon maybe but I posted this for now.

Mission San Borja is extremely beautiful and eerily quiet. We road through there after it just rained and conditions were top notch. I cant wait to go back.

Workin on the ride back to BOLA right now

Cool Merlin! I can't wait to take that route in January. I remember trying to rally you and Sasquatch last year to take that route, but you guys were a little beat up so we just slabbed it back to Bola, and then went back with Saltwater to check it out. We had a fun ride back in the dark...

Edit: I loved the video of the way there by the way.. Did you find out anything about all the hikers? Were they with all the vans that you passed? Looked like a fun hike too.

They were a church group hiking across the peninsula. I can't remember where they started from but they were heading to San Borja to spend the night and then on to BOLA the next day. That route is super fun and the stretch from San Borja to BOLA is even better.

Ok from San Borja is the final dirt section of BARF Baja 2016. I was riding with 1962siia88, Impish9090, and EricB. This last section was awesome. Like the last section going up to the mission it wasn't too tough and it wasn't too easy. Lots of dirt, sand, rocks, climbs, and dips. What was great is I roade with 1966siaa88 the whole way like in the last section and I was able to ride right next to him comfortably. I always enjoy riding with him because our skill levels are close. It was a nice relaxing ride while still going at a good pace. Also riding next to him kept me from getting blasted with all the dust the XR650R was kicking up. Got some good video of it also.

Adventure awaits us indeed! I took this picture at the fork that takes you to BOLA from Mission San Borja. Pretty cool our group consisted of totally different bikes: Honda XR650R, Suzuki DR650SE, Kawasaki KLX250, KTM 690 Enduro
