Welcome, BARF friends, to our second annual summer rally, the GOPatterson Mid Summer Magic rally.
Once again we are headed north this Summer to enjoy the magic of the Trinity Alps. You literally cannot go wrong with the riding up there. Plenty of riding opportunities; long or short rides, goats or sweepers, dirt a-plenty, and a pool, or the lake, or the river if you just want to relax and enjoy the beauty. Motorcycles are fun and so are rallies, right? This rally is a real riding enthusiast’s event as Trinity has some of the best roads I’ve ever enjoyed.
Read through the rally info, and plan accordingly. For those that are new to the BARF rallies, please read through the below information and/or ask anyone in the Rally thread when we release it for more info, riding groups, tips, etc...

Dates: August 4-7 (That's right, leaving Monday morning!)
Destination: Weaverville, CA
Estimated 3-Day Mileage: +/- 1,000 miles - It's about 400 miles just to Weaverville.
Bay Area Starting Point and Time: To be announced
All makes welcomed.
Please note that this is not an organized or guided group-riding event. There are no officially designated leads or sweeps. This is a rally with predetermined routes, common points-of-interest and destination for the participants. The official daily starting point and time are provided to allow the participants the greatest opportunity to enjoy the company of other BARFers along the way for the duration of the rally. Participants are free to band into groups of their own choosing, and at their own risk.

Step 1. Most of you have made your room reservations and the rally hotel is BOOKED. Maybe you can call and let the nice lady or gentleman who answers know you are coming for the BARF rally and would like to be on the wait list.

Rates from $60 + tax for one queen bed to about $75 plus tax for two queens.
Please keep in mind that Sunday and Monday will be a big day for the staff at this hotel as there will be a mass exodus of BARFers and a lot of rooms to clean. Please be considerate so that we are welcomed back for future rallies.
Alternates: No special arrangements made with these guys. They're a five minute walk away.
