Question - autoscroll feature?

Would it be possible / difficult to implement a "scroll to last / newest post" feature when clicking on a thread you've already been reading when you click "last page" for example? Some of the pic threads and political threads take a bit to scroll through to read the latest post especially if you're set up to display 20+ posts per page.
 
All of the threads have a "go to latest" little arrow icon, but the larger threads, that feature is broken. It will just take you to the last page.
 
Have you never before been curious as to what that little downward facing arrow next to the thread title does and clicked on it?

It's also available at the top of every page next to the hyperlink that says 'View First Unread' too...
 
:facepalm Literally never thought to click on those arrows. Just thought they were visual indicators of new posts in a thread besides bold text.
 
Someone needs to start a PSA thread in General and the Sink for all you poor souls who don't know about this!
