AND EX500 race bike *price change*
**EDIT** Let's hear some offers!
Bike went down at last buttonwillow round (low side into 3) and has since been fixed. Gerry Piazza went through the whole bike and straightened everything (should be better than new). Only issue now is that it's not as cosmetically nice as it was in the pics... Tank has dents, tail has scrapes (still fine from far) and the windscreen is no more. So, despite some engine clean up (valve check, cleaning, etc) this week and several hundred dollars to Gerry for the work, I'll be dropping the price to $4600 obo as of now. thanks
And please keep in mind that you could fit any motor smaller than a EX500 into the chassis (for you single freaks).

$4800 obo (which is much cheaper than it would cost you to put an equivalent SV500 together)
Where to start? Probably the most important thing is the bike is for sale, but I won't be done with it till after the October 1st/2nd race at Sears point.
This bike is truly a one of a kind in the AFM, and there’s a racing heritage to accompany it. The bike won an F500 championship in 02, took 2nd and 3rd overall in 01 only because Kevin Smith road out of his mind to take the championship (and Reily missed a round, didn’t he?), and will take a 4th overall with me on it this year. Shawn Reilly and Tom Doresy raced it in a Pro Thunder AMA race at Laguna Seca and neither came in last! The bike’s been on the podium at every track, including the 4-hour race last year at Sears. And, the bike was featured in Road Racing World, ridden by chris and john Ulrich for review. The AND has run 2:03’s at Buttonwillow (my slow novice times on it were 05’s), 2:05’s at Thill which is faster than anyone should ever go on an EX500 engine that’s not a grenade(my slow novice times, which anyone could do is a high 8 in practice), and what equates to high 40’s at Sears (my fastest time is a 51 this year, which you could all do). It’s gone fast with fast guys on it (them), and proved it can go fast (for our class) with not so fast guys on it (me). I’m hoping an AFMer wants to buy it and race it, but I won’t feel bad as long as it goes to a good home.
