BAD DAY I WAS STUNTIN ON THE BAY BRIDGE GOT PULLED OVER, THE THING IS I GOT NO LICENSE THE BIKE IS IN MY NAME THOUGH, OFFICER WAS COOL ONLY GAVE ME SPEEDING TICKET BUT HAD TO TOW BECAUSE I HAD NO LICENSE, NO 30 DAY HOLD THANK GOD ! NOW MY QUESTION IS CAN I GET THE BIKE OUT WITH A BUDDY OF MINES SINCE HE HAS A VALID M1 LICENSE AND IS AN INSURED RIDER WILL THEY RELEASE IT TO ME WITH HIM DRIVING IT OUT THE IMPOUND, ANY FEEDBACK MUCH APPRECIATED THANKYOU

I am pretty sure your bike is going to sit there for 30 days. Happened to a guy I know here at work. But why the fuck you stunting on the bay bridge for? Let me guess you had on baggy jeans, white tenis shoes, and one of those straight jacket style type vest That A Boy!:applause
 
They'll release it to the registered owner, assuming that there is no hold on it, I.E- they may require proof of a valid license or you were cited for something which requires it being impounded for 30 days.

You were hopefully given a number for the impound yard where it was taken to. I'd suggest calling them and asking, they would be able to tell you better than we can.


And yes- retype your first post. It's a pita to read and that is one of the reasons why no one is replying (besides the fact that no one here can tell you exactly what may or may not happen since we don't know what you were cited for, the ticket can be amended by the officer after the fact ;))
 
He was wearing flip flops, cargo shorts, a beater, and a Hawaiian print button up shirt that wasn't buttoned up. Also, hit modular helmet was open at the jaw.
 
Second time heard story like this. Towing the bike because having no license. Other rider has a license but not with him at the time.
LEO doesn't really know who they stopped. A joyrider thief, someone not licensed to ride or a permit holder on a freeway.

Answer is most probable a friend with M1 can ride the bike. Assuming you have your own identification to pick up the bike.
 
Did you have no license at all or just no M1? Best bet is to call the impound yard and ask what they need from you to release the bike. Probably just some form saying you payed your fine, but maybe more to it. Then call the CHP station who issued you the ticket and see what it will take to get the form to give to the impound yard. You will probably have to show registration, insurance and some sort of M1 to someone before they will release it. Worst case, show up with a pickup and a ramp. Like OFG said, try posting in the LEO forum, this is the kind of thing those guys deal with for a living. And please don't stunt on the freeway, people have a hard enough time figuring out how to drive on it under normal circumstances.

I have ridden a friend's bike home from impound because he did not have an M1 at the time. Dont know if its up to the tow yard, but the one I picked it up in, was in Millbrae.

Thankyou for the feedback, i have a licensee just no M1 there is no 30 day hold though thank god tomorrow i going to take care of this will post updates thanks again
