2011 Cadillac CTS-V Stolen 8.5.26

Some updates.

3 people have reached out saying the same crew stole their car. Same white Subaru and 4 dudes.
Police now in contact with all 3.

Reddit person said they saw the car. Menlo Park PD to ask Oakland PD to check it out. Fat chance imo.
They can't use Flock?
Or is that only reserved for stalking girlfriends and ex's?

Our HOA has been used multiple times to stash stolen vehicles. Didn't get much help from the local PD. Now, we just do a quick ask of community and tow. Most often, car disappears when we place a sticker saying...We gonna tow you sucker!

Maybe the theft crew stashed your car in the open Budman. Crossed fingers for you.

I am now super pissed at both the thieves and Oakland PD. They were called the early morning the car showed up. They did not come. They were called again the next day.. Car still here. They did not show up.

The person who called and was watching noticed they dumped some trash curbside. One item was a letter to me which 100% confirmed it was my car. Fucking bullshit. Thanks Oaklamd PD. :mad

Sorry, the "new" Oakland Chief is 60 yrs old and came up through the ranks- I wouldn't expect much change. He's their 3-4th Chief in 5 years if that suggests anything. The ex-mayor got caught stealing, a lot, typically not a good leadership quality.

Who is in Ontario and can look at this for me??

Has a 6 speed. Recaro seats and might just make me happy.

I'm not sure I understand. Was the car spotted in Oakland? If so, where? I will go look at it.

It is already gone. It was spotted the day it was stolen @5am so about 2 hours after the theft.
Police called. They did not show.

The next day the thieve sticks were working on it and the good citizen called the Police again.
They could have caught at least two of the perps and got the car. Again they did not respond.

Good citizen went down to the street and found the Christmas Card from @KazMan 's Mom in the gutter.
100% Proof it was my car. :mad

The same dude that reported it reported another car dropped by the same group.
Cops called. _ No response.

Oakland PD sucks.

Crazy... did the good citizen maybe give the address for the a$$holes?

Maybe MV / PA pd would be interested?

Just tell OPD you're headed over to confront them at a given time and they'll have to respond to a ert violence? Slackers.

I might write a letter about how unresponsive Oakland PD were and send it to the Oakland police chief, the Oakland mayor, and the Oakland media.

Had a customer that had the same thing happen. Honda CR-V was stolen in Brentwood and spotted in Oakland... he called OPD and got no response.
So he drove to Oakland and called them again from the car... still no show.
He ended up calling a tow truck and having it towed-in on his own. And that was 7 or 8 years ago!
