Post / Chat whores post here (2026)

So you're aware:
"...CARB’s 2026 plan set the 2030 target for zero-emission appliance sales. It’s the backbone of the state’s strategy to cut greenhouse gas emissions and improve indoor air quality. The plan covers space heaters, water heaters and dryers..."

He's not derailing anything he's bringing factual information to the discussion.
CARB has got the cart in front of the horse! It's trying to rapidly push everything over to the Big "E" when the state falls short on meeting the
the current demand. In the past 5-6 years there's been more, longer rolling brown outages and blackouts because of demand than in the previous years.
The generation and distribution infrastructure for electricity is woefully inadequate and has not kept pace with the current demand.
Where are the new power plants (wind, solar, nuclear) being established to transition us off gas fired devices and over to all these new electrical ones they want to bring online? California gets it's electricity from a mix of sources, with 40% being from gas and that demand isn't going to go down for a long time!

CARB ? Not drinking the Kool - Aid …..
I stand by my logic……
I get it no need to discuss this any further.
Going Riding now ….. Highway 1 Loop from Petaluma….
All good here…

Awesome
But you popped off at Jordan about derailing the conversation when he posted the FACT about the ban.
You should apologize to him.

This.. doesn’t exactly prove, that there aren’t any dangers.

oh yes they are. There’s literally a case every now and then of “a couple sleeping in the room next to the water heater” and don’t wake up because of carbon monoxide poisoning

Very sad actually..one a year or so, covered in the news.

Look it’s okay if you haven’t heard of it and are being ignorant of this, just now you should know! :D

And of those deaths how many were caused by not having the required and functioning

Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors in the home?!

I'm not arguing for or against anything or the reasoning behind it.
I'm pointing out the fact that Paul's comment was uncalled for...my humble opinion of course.

Also the idea that fewer sources of pollution would be the same or worse than millions of sources of pollution is asinine to me.

Which is why I’m antsy about my own CO detector and recently installed one with a damn LCD display (to show me if there are gradations in the quality/amount of gas)

MD - NAP. My issue / concern is CARB's stupid, irrational, lack of sound judgment, and expense it's going to take to meet the 2030 target for zero-emission appliance sales when there isn't the capability to support it!

I don't even have one... I'm worried without a little CO in the air I won't be able to fall asleep at night.

One of the things with this pinched nerve is I fart, a lot. Now don’t get me wrong, I always fart a lot. One could say I’m gassy. One could even say there is something wrong with me. But the last few days have been off the hook. I sound like a five year old imitating a hippopotamus shitting into a fan in front of a microphone.

I'm trying to decide if this is a negative or positive side effect of this back issue.

I never thought I’d ask if we could get back to discussing vw brake pads before, but here I am.

Do all of you clowns not understand this is not the place where we talk about motorcycles or cars?

I was taught, that the Double Negative Exists Not.

Yet there it is!

Self block bitches

Farts. Ok maybe I
Ve had one too many g&ts. Maybe I’ll have another for the back pain.
It was not my intention to start a conversation about farts but you took the ball and you ran with it. There are no linebackers to stop you.

It’s not like anyone would want to tackle me right now. Between the screaming in pain and the farting, I fell pretty safe right now
