We visited Mare Island yesterday and rode around after lunch. It was a long drive for a short (and flat) ride, but worth it. Good food at Mare Island Brewing, with nice views of two tall ships and an old tug boat that are on loan from the San Francisco Maritime Museum. The Mare Island Naval Cemetery is a sad sight. It is disgusting that the government has allowed it to become so neglected and derelict.

I'm feeling happy now. After two days without my computer monitor, I pulled my desk away from the wall and found that the power supply for my monitor switch was disconnected. All is now good.
