The other AM my nephew came back from his run on a foggy morning and was blown away by the fog in the cemetery behind us. He doesn't see much fog in Austin.

Performance is fine. I attacked a few climbs for fun. Recovery is terrible. I’ve been sleeping like shit and it caught up to me by the final day of riding. I have no matches left.

i remember just trying to be a functional human in mammoth lakes, at 8400 feet. i can't imagine being a pedal demon at 2+ miles high.

26” wheels on a 3x9 is a throwback for sure. These make it easier to do than real drop bars. I waxed up the chain this weekend and she rips.

Bought the frame on a whim when they were 60% off, its the Meraki model and ordered it without any decals other than the purple headbadge. Fit the largest tire I could squeeze (32c), not tubeless because I don't trust tubeless on the road and the Central Valley has an infinite supply of goat heads on the road so I run Gatorskins.
