cause I'm not. There were a group of cars bout 1/4 mile behind me. He wasn't behind me. He passed the group flew up the right lane then cut me off. I wasn't impeding ANYONES travel. He was the only one to pass me all the way to 101.

Really?! You're the fool that calls everybody who doesn't drive/ride right in, and then when there's a real emergency, people have to wait 4 min on hold. on the 20ft brake check...if he did that 20ft in front of you and you didn't decelerate, or as you stated you accelerated, he'd be a hood ornament. He was either way further ahead, or he didn't brake check you, just barely tapped the brake to get the taillight to activate so that maybe, MAYBE, you'd get the hint and get your old tank out of the fast lane. At 70mph you're covering 102.667ft/second, so if he was 20ft ahead you'd have .2 of a second to react AND to scrub speed. Good luck with that 
When are we going to make this law a ticketable offense? Playing checkers on the freeway is never safer and if this law was backed up by a hefty fine, people would be more motivated to be aware of their surroundings.

Yeah, look what fines have done for keeping people from texting/talking on cell phones.
I don't think it's "wrong" to be in the left lane when you're not holding anyone up, but I still find it weird when people do it. I learned that the left lane is for passing, so I've always wondered exactly what they teach people in this state. This is the only place I've been that it's often easier to pass on the right, because the middle lane will be empty for like a 1/4 mile.
I used to get mad when people did that, now I just pass them. Whateves, not worth getting upset about, right?

It baffles me too. Every now and again I get so irritated at people like this that I decide fuck it, I am hogging the left lane. Why not? Everyone else does it. That usually lasts for about one minute because I am constantly checking my rear view and worrying about who I am holding up. I don't know hopw people can drive for miles without ever being aware or caring that they ARE A FUCKING ROLLING ROADBLACK.

Not a solid analogy. It's hard to catch someone texting/talking while driving. Someone holding up traffic can be seen a quarter mile away. Furthermore, what's a fine for texting/talking $20 first offense, $40 second? Make holding up traffic in the fast lane equivalent to a carpool violation, so $381 or whatever it is now. Boom...problem solved, you'll see everyone checking their 6 every 2-3 seconds like they're supposed to, and moving over to the rightmost lane available at all times, just like in Germany
